James Dwyer presents to QUT’s CLEVAR research group

2022, May

Congratulations to our very own Research Associate, James Dwyer, for presenting to QUT’s CLEVAR Research Group (Cognitive and Learning Environments in Virtual and Augmented Reality). James was invited by the CLEVAR team to chat about his research and his use of VR and AR in advanced interactive contexts.

James is a QUT Industrial Design graduate and is currently exploring advances in human-robot interactions at the BMW Group + QUT Design Academy. He teaches into the Industrial Design program looking at tangible interactions and is Research Assistant on various QUT Design Lab projects related to health and future mobility. With a background in electronics, coding and sensor technologies, he has been involved in various high profile projects including creative team lead for the Ars Electronica Futurelab which was a finalist in the 2018 IxDA Awards, and research associate lead on a future mobility project with Transport and Main Roads Queensland.

We are very proud of James’ achievements and we look forward to more successful research outcomes and presentations.
