We are very excited to announce some new BMW Group design interns for 2024! Due to ongoing projects and the proven talent of our QUT students, our friends at BMW and idealworks have asked for additional interns.
We are proud to announce our newest 2024 BMW Group Design Interns:
Alexandra Singleton - joining idealworks in Munich for 6 months. Her internship is also forms a crucial part of her PhD studies.
Lewis Webb - off to the BMW Logistics Innovation & Robotics team (based out of Plant Alpha in Munich) for 6 months. This internship will be subsequent to Lewis’ Academy WIL internship during Semester 1 of this year.
D'Arcy Hodgson - also joining the BMW Logistics Innovation & Robotics team in Munich for the next 6 months.
A special mention goes to Stephen Terry who was confirmed late last year for a design internship at BMW Group Plant Hams Hall in the UK. Stephen has just started his placement and will be with the Innovation & Digitalisation team until mid 2025.
Alexandra, Lewis and D’Arcy bring our total number of QUT design interns for 2024 up to 10 - the most we’ve had at BMW Group at once! Our total number of students accepted to the program since 2016 is now at 45, with more to come next year.
