Founder and Lead, Dr Rafael Gomez, announced as Design Institute of Australia Fellow

Associate Professor Rafael Gomez, BMW Group + QUT Design Academy Founder and Lead, has been recognised for his sustained service, commitment and impact on the design community by the Design Institute of Australia. Dr Gomez first joined the Design Institute of Australia in 2003 and has been an active contributor and advocate of the DIA over the past 18 years. He has previously served on DIA Qld Branch Council and the Industrial Design Portfolio, and remains a strong conduit between the tertiary education sector and the DIA QLD Branch Council, and is a facilitator of the GOTYA Awards Program. Rafael has also recently served as an Industrial Design Judge on the DIA Inaugural Designers Awards Program. Congratulations to Dr Gomez for this recognition and honour!
