Congratulations to the talented students who completed our Semester 2 2023 Work Integrated Learning (WIL) Internship Program through the BMW Group + QUT Design Academy. Sri Sadhana, Keagan Geyer, Sabina Bartram and Chelo Lechonsito impressed us this semester with their work ethic, quality of work and professional attitudes.
Sri Sadhana and Keagan Geyer designed an in-vehicle STEM-themed game for kids. They both were very thorough during the process of creating this design. They were thorough with their research which was also accompanied by high-quality renders of the design. Sri Sadhana and Keagan Geyer have done an amazing job this semester in distilling the project brief and presenting a thoughtful concept that fits their specified context really well. They responded to feedback and have developed their idea to a high level.
Sabina Bartram completed the idealworks iw.hub branding package project. She presented some amazing designs that led back to the brand identity idealworks obtains. She even went the extra mile and presented a physical branding package which was amazing!
Chelo Lechonsito designed wearable tech for BMW factory workers. He explored ergonomics and usability, which fostered his design. We were amazed by the level of detail produced in a short period of time, as well as the flow of his presentation.
Best wishes to all four on their remaining studies and future work endeavours. We really enjoyed having them this semester!
