Academy Founder Invited to speak at International CMF Design Conference

Founder and Lead of the BMW Group + QUT Design Academy, Associate Professor Rafael Gomez, was honoured to be invited to present at the International CMF Design Conference event held in Shenzhen on December 2023. He presented a lecture titled Speculative Use of Advanced Materials in Automotive Interiors by outlining the current trends in design that are fundamentally impacting automotive interiors, as well as outlining some of the cutting-edge technologies that will have significant impacts into the future. He also provided some thoughts on opportunities that are not yet fully realised in automotive interiors, specifically focused on areas where CMF has some potential applications. We thank the CMF Design Awards organising committee for the invitation and the honour of presenting at such a prestigious event.
